Machinist (m/f) (m/f/d)

Prerequisites:

At least good secondary school leaving certificate or intermediate school leaving certificate

Good grades in mathematics and technology

Manual dexterity and spatial imagination

Training period:

3.5 years dual training (company and vocational school)

Continuing education opportunities:

Industrial foreman (m/f) in mechatronics, technician (m/f) in mechatronics, technical specialist (m/f)

Your tasks:

First, you will learn all metalworking processes during the one and a half year basic training in our apprentice workshop,
starting from filing, drilling and grinding to turning and milling. After the basic training, which ends with the final examination part 1, you will be able to independently manufacture a finished product from a blank using a drawing and a variety of machining processes. The drawing components produced by our trainees are required by our automation company, Stecher Automation GmbH, for use in our specially designed robot systems. Therefore, measuring and checking the drawing specifications also has a high priority. After successfully completing your basic training, you will be directly involved in the work processes of the individual departments. In this way, you will learn all the skills on our CNC lathes, be intensively trained in the measuring technology on our state-of-the-art coordinate measuring machines and get to know all the other activities of your future profession as a cutting machine operator, such as work preparation, the handling of a wide range of tools and all the accompanying processes at Stecher Drehtechnik GmbH. The apprenticeship ends after 3.5 years with your successfully passed skilled worker examination.

Industrial mechanic (m/f/d)

Prerequisites:

At least very good secondary school leaving certificate or intermediate school leaving certificate

Good grades in mathematics and technology

Manual dexterity and logical thinking

Training period:

3.5 years dual training (company and vocational school)

Continuing education opportunities:

Industrial foreman (m/f) in metal, technician (m/f) in machine technology, technical specialist (m/f)

Your tasks:

At the beginning of your apprenticeship, you will gain basic insights into the variety of machining processes, which will always accompany you in all your later tasks. Drilling, filing and forming are among the activities you will perform later on. But you will also acquire a wide range of skills in grinding, turning and milling. As an apprentice industrial mechanic, you will gain experience in working with pneumatic and electropneumatic systems during your one-and-a-half-year basic training, which ends with the Part 1 final examination. After the basic training you will be integrated in our automation company, Stecher Automation GmbH. Stecher Automation GmbH builds and networks robotic systems with automated guided vehicles, paving the way to the “smart factory” and cross-process automation for many companies. Here you will acquire comprehensive knowledge in the construction of such plants and will be trained especially in the programming of PLC controls. You will also be directly involved in the planning of the individual robot cells and learn how to use our CAD drawing software SolidWorks. you accompany and support the complete development process of our robot cells, starting with planning and design, through assembly and installation, to the final commissioning. You will complete your training after 3.5 years with the skilled worker examination.

Your tasks:

Right at the beginning of your training, you will be familiarized with the processes and tasks of our materials management. Here you will learn all the activities from the purchase of raw materials needed for production to the planning, control and monitoring of production to the distribution and sale of the products we manufacture. You will continuously expand your knowledge and skills by independently processing orders and supporting the customers for whom you are responsible, as well as participating in interesting sales topics in which you can also contribute your creative skills. Your training will also include interesting insights into the areas of finance and accounting as well as controlling and human resources. In addition to auditing and preparing invoices, you will also acquire knowledge in controlling the processes involved. In order to be able to expand your knowledge spectrum holistically, you will also be familiarized with topics from the area of human resources and learn how personnel entries and exits are handled, which labor law topics are important and with which measures you can increase the satisfaction of your employees.

Your tasks:

One of the first tasks in your apprenticeship is to learn the various procedures of the
Metalworking such as turning, milling, grinding and filing. Above all, you will also acquire a wealth of knowledge in drilling, sawing and forming. As a trainee mechatronics technician, you will gain experience in working with mechatronic systems during your one-and-a-half-year basic training, which ends with the Part 1 final examination. After the basic training you will be integrated in our automation company, Stecher Automation GmbH. Stecher Automation GmbH builds and networks robotic systems with automated guided vehicles, paving the way to the “smart factory” and cross-process automation for many companies. You will acquire comprehensive knowledge in the construction of such systems and will primarily be responsible for the installation of electrical and mechatronic assemblies and components. Your main focus will be on programming PLC controls, setting up control cabinets, and maintaining and servicing mechatronic systems. You will complete your training after 3.5 years with the skilled worker examination.

Management assistant for office management (m/f/d)

Prerequisites:

At least good secondary school leaving certificate

Interest in commercial contexts

Organizational skills and logical thinking

Training period:

3 years with periods in the company as well as in the vocational school

Continuing education opportunities:

including business administrator for communication and office management, certified business administrator for office and project organization, office specialist.

Your duties will include:

During your training as an office management assistant, you will become familiar with all activities from purchasing the raw materials required for production to planning, controlling and monitoring production to distributing and selling the products we manufacture. You will continuously expand your knowledge and skills by independently processing orders and supporting the customers for whom you are responsible, as well as participating in interesting sales topics in which you can also contribute your creative skills. Your training will also include general office duties such as handling correspondence, procuring office supplies and preparing presentations and papers. With the skills you have learned, you will master various methods of searching for information as well as common data processing programs, which will enable you to research and prepare data and information for the area managers in sales and purchasing. To give you a comprehensive insight into the organizational and administrative activities of a modern company, you will also gain experience in the areas of accounting and human resources.


Warehouse logistics specialist

(m/f/d)

Prerequisites:

Good grades in mathematics and German, English an advantage

Training period:

3 years with periods in the company as well as in the vocational school

Your duties will include:

Training as a warehouse logistics specialist at Stecher Drehtechnik GmbH involves learning all the logistical processes that occur in a modern company. The warehouse logistics specialist has very versatile areas of responsibility and should be very well versed in many areas and also be able to actively lend a hand. For example, your activities include checking incoming goods, checking outgoing goods, but also carrying out the annual inventory. Every day, several trucks drive up to us, bringing deliveries or picking them up for shipment. Accordingly, communication with the individual forwarding companies regarding the compilation of deliveries and route plans is an important activity of a warehouse logistics specialist. For the daily dispatch of customer orders, you assemble the individual deliveries, pay attention to the various customer-specific requirements and compile the corresponding delivery bills and freight documents. In order to be able to ensure daily shipping, of course, an eye must always be kept on sufficient available packaging material. In addition to working in the warehouse or loading and unloading trucks, sometimes outdoors, you will be intensively trained in our ERP system at our PC workstations. Thus, all processes such as the storage and retrieval of goods and the picking of shipping items are recorded and processed electronically. Furthermore, the maintenance of industrial trucks is also part of your job. You are also always welcome to contribute your own ideas and suggestions for optimizing logistics processes. After 3 years, you will ultimately complete your training as a warehouse logistics specialist with the skilled worker examination.

IT Specialist – Application Development (m/f/d)

Prerequisites:

At least good intermediate school leaving certificate or university entrance qualification

Interest in software engineering contexts

Logical thinking, technical understanding and mathematical skills

Training period:

3 years with periods in the company as well as in the vocational school

Continuing education opportunities:

State-certified technicians specializing in information technology, computer management specialists, business economists for information processing, etc.

Your tasks:

As an IT specialist with a focus on application development, your training will teach you how to develop, program and maintain software-based solutions. You will gain knowledge of various programming languages (C#, HTML, TypeScript, CSS) and learn how to work with development environments such as Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code. Another part of the training covers how to design, implement and manage databases. You will gain the skills such as problem solving, logical and analytical thinking, and knowledge of networks and databases. Also part of the training program is how to plan and organize projects to meet the customer’s requirements. At the end of the training, you will be able to develop software-based solutions that are user-friendly, efficient and secure.
